We’ve tinted windows on hundreds of vehicles and we’re preferred installers for some of the biggest names in the industry. We offer all types of window tinting that will meet your driving needs and keep your car looking great for years to come.
Some of the benefits of tinting are that it keeps cars more comfortable, protects the interior from harmful UV rays, reduces glare and blocks 99% of harmful UVA/UVB rays- keeping you safer on the road by helping your eyes adjust to changing light more easily. Tinted windows can also help keep your vehicle cool in the summer by blocking heat-producing infrared rays.
We offer five types of tint film:
- Dyed Tint
- Metalized Tint
- Hybrid Tint
- Carbon Tint
- Ceramic Tint
Dyed tint is the darkest and most popular film we offer. It’s opaque and blocks up to 99% of light. Dyed tint is available in a variety of shades, from your basic black to lighter shades such as bronze, gold and blue. (Please note that dyed tint does not come in clear or reflective varieties.)
Metalized films are a thicker type of tint that blocks out visible light by over 99%. These films also reflect heat back, making them great for those who live in hot climates or have black interior panels. It’s ideal if you’re looking to reduce glare and protect your dash from sun damage. The metal particles can cause interference with cell phones and other electronics, so we don’t recommend these for your car.
Hybrid films are a combination of dyed and metalized tint to give you the best of both worlds. They’re practically opaque and block out up to 97% of light while still reducing glare and heat reflected from the sun. These are great if you want to protect your interior and still be able to use your electronics.
Carbon films are a popular choice for those looking to add style and personality to their car windows. These films offer the highest visibility in any shade offered, but they’re not as dark or heat-blocking as our other options. One of the main selling points is that they won’t turn purple when exposed to heat like dyed films do after time, so it will stay looking newer longer than other types of window film. It’s also much thicker than dyed films, making it less likely to tear or bubble.
Ceramic tint uses a special coating applied to the surface of the film made from ceramic particles that block out harmful rays while allowing visible light through for a stylish look. Ceramic films are scratch resistant and the most heat-resistant film, making it great for the hot Brisbane climates. You can still use your electronics with this type of tint; however it’s not as dark as dyed or metalized tints, so your visibility on bright days may be reduced.
